2005 KOMA Champion, Korea

Number 1 ranked fighter at Ratchadamnoen Stadium in Bangkok
South Thailand Champion at 70lb

Thopadak Wanchalerm is Sing’s Thai fighting name, which he used for many years whilst fighting in Bangkok.  Sinbi Taewoong is Sing’s Korean fighting name, which he uses when fighting K-1.  Sinbi means ‘mysterious’ in Korean and Taewoong is the name of the gym where he trained.  It was the owner of this gym who brought him to Korea to fight K-1.  Sing is his Thai nickname, all thai’s have these.  Sing is an owner, manager and head trainer at Sinbi Muay Thai camp.

Born in the Songkhla Province in southern Thailand, Sing grew up with two brothers and one sister. He started training Muay Thai at the age of 9. His father who had been a fighter himself and subsequently became a rice grower, trained him and his brothers at home. His sister (who now works at Sinbi Muay Thai) often helped too by holding the pads for her brothers when they were young).  His mother worked as a fruit tree farmer.

Sing had 30 fights in his home province Songkhra in the town of Natawee, with his first fight at the age of 9. He was South Thailand Champion at 70lbs.  At the age of 13 Sing left his home and moved to Bangkok with a friend to live and train in a gym there (Loog-tap-agat gym). His manager there was Wanpaded, himself a Racthadermnoen Champion.  At the same time as training he went to school and finished high school at the age of 19. He went to University afterwards to study Sports Science and graduated at 24. During this time Sing trained at the same gym and fought over 100 fights in Bangkok. Sing fought in the famous and prestigious Lumpinee and Ratchadamnoen stadiums in Bangkok where only the best fighters compete. He was ranked number 1 at both these stadiums.  At the age of 25, Sing went to live and work in Korea for 6 months as a Muay Thai trainer and he fought for Taewoong Muay Thai gym in Seoul. The following year Sing moved to Phuket to work as a trainer at the gym of a friend of his whom he met in the gym in Bangkok. They went to school together. While training a large number of foreign Muay Thai students and tourists, Sing started learning English at this stage. In 2005 Sing went to England for  to fight and to teach Muay Thai in Birmingham at Trojan Gym. In 2006 Sing had a fight in Sydney, Australia as well as fighting in a KOMA event in Korea where he had three fights in one day in Seoul. He had fought the KOMA event previously in 2005 and won the event. The first time Sing was fighting in a K-1 MAX event was in Busan, Korea in February 2006. His second K-1 fight was in the K-1 KHAN Fighting Network in Seoul, Korea in September 2006 where he won against the Mongolian fighter ByamBa by KO in the 2nd round. In total, Sing has ten Championship belts to his name.  He opened Sinbi Muay Thai Camp in January 2007.

Sing has recently expanded his business interests to include promoting Muay Thai events under the banner of Sinbi Promotions.  Sinbi Promotions has held events in Nai Harn, Bangla Stadium, Patong and Pattalung in the South of Thailand.

Kimchi Sinbimuaythai

Trainer
Name: Kimchi Sinbimuaythai
Thai nickname: Dee
Fighting name:
Date of birth:
Titles: Held South of Thailand Championship belts at 80lbs and 122lbs

Kru Dee Training a young fighter called Sky Recently

Dee is one of the youngest of the bunch of trainers but don’t let that fool you into thinking he isn’t an absolutely world class trainer. He speaks amongst the best English of all the trainers and is absolutely meticulous when it comes to correcting peoples technique. This is probably due to the fact when Dee was a fighter, which he only fairly recently retired from he was very technical. Dee has fought in Korea, Germany and Japan as well as Thailand.

ann

Denlangoo

Trainer
Name: Denlangoo
Thai nickname: Ann
Fighting name: Denlangoo

Achievements: Rajadamnern Stadium Number 1 Ranking

Ann Sinbimuaythai

Ann came to us many years ago after working as a fighter/trainer at the famous Chuwattana Gym in Bangkok on the recommendation of Det Sinbimuaythai (retired) who was his elder there. Famous for his immensely powerful push kick and and powerful style of fighting coupled with his relaxed and fun attitude has made Ann a favourite of many. Anns English is basic but he still always manages to get his point across and if you want to see some of his work, checkout this video of Vicky Fung who he has almost entirely trained from being a beginner, to a world class fighter.

run

Jaroenthong

Trainer
Name Jaeronthong
Thai nickname: Run
Fighting name:
Date of birth:
Achievements: Lumpini number 1 Ranking

Kru Run training Michael from France last year

Run comes from Nakhonsitamarad and trained at the same gym as Ped (Ruamjaiepuean Gym), one of our other trainers. He came to us highly recommended from Sit Yot Tong Gym in Nakhonsitamarad, where he was training children. He narrowly missed being Lumpinee’s top fighter for his weight on two occasions. Both times he lost to the same opponent – Nueng Pitchit. He has fought at Lumpinee 85 times and lost only 15 times. He fought at Racherdamnern 20 times. He also fought once for Channel 7 TV. His particular strength as a fighter is his kneeing ability. Here he is with his son Ravi:

Bao V
Bao VTrainer
Name Bao V

Kru BaoV Training Joe Santi From USA

BaoV is the brother of Sinbi Taewoong and they used to train together when Sinbi was a young boy and BaoV was a little older! BaoV has been training fighters for many years and is extremely experienced. His very fast paced style of pad holding will always keep you on your toes as he likes to throw plenty of feints and tricks to make sure you’re working defense as much as working on your striking technique. If you want to see one of Baos students in action a perfect example is Veronica from New Zealand. She had never fought before and was a relative beginner on arriving at the camp but after training soley with Bao she went on to completely dominate a WMC contender Lindsay in her 2nd ever fight! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1rV48Xw7X0

Kru Nai in Fight of the Year

Nai Mostly fought for TV 7 the main sports channel in Thailand as one of their top fighters. He was the Eastern Champion at 57kg. He has since made a comeback and has won by knockout in 90% of his fights recently. In what was hailed as maybe the best fight of the year in South Thailand a few months ago, Nai made a clear statement that his break from fighting was only a short one and he is still ready to rumble with the best of them. His English is pretty good and he is a very popular trainer even though he’s been with us less than 1 year. He was recommended to us by his friend Chalee Sinbimuaythai and on getting here has never looked back. Expect him to try to teach his own knockout style if you go with Nai.

Joy
JoyTrainer

Kru Joy

Joy is always living up to his name as he always has a smile on his face! That’s possibly because of all the good feedback we get about him from his students. Quote Natasha Sky, one of our long term fighters who say they have never had a better pad holder who can catch absolutely anything you throw at him! Perfect for unleashing those combinations on the fly as Joy can catch anything! Here he is pictured with his little girl who he usually brings to the gym while he works.

Pradit Seradi

Kru Yib

Yib is a favourite amongst bigger people as he’s one of the biggest of the bunch! When Sing fought K1 and won the K1 Max title, Yib was Sings pad holder and sing says Yib made him feel very powerful and fast the way he held pads. This is similar to what his current students will tell you. He has a knack of bringing out your power and speed and pushing you that one step further than you think you can go.
